Colon Cleansing: laxatives vs suppliments?
I have been reading up a lot on the whole colon cleansing process. I am 28 years old and about 50 pounds overweight and was looking at starting some sort of weight loss regimen to slim down a bit for summer. All of the supplements seem so expensive and the natural cleansing remedies (sea salt dissolved in 2 qt water) seem far from appealing! Would I get the same result if I just took a bunch of laxatives or inserted a suppository? I have felt so terrible for months now, having every blood test known to man, returning "within normal limits" results for all tests. My body aches as if I have the flu, I am weak and have little to no energy, headaches, fatigue, but when I try to sleep I toss and turn most of the night. Could these be signs that I need a colon cleansing? I was considering the lap band (if insurance approves it, that is) if this "colon cleansing" didn't return any results....Any personal stories on these topics would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!
