Yeast infection worries?

Last week I was taking antibiotics to help cure a my first cold sore outbreak. However now it seems I have some sort of vaginal infection. The discharge had mucus was thicker than usual and seemed very strong, like fish. There was very little irritation and no itching. Assuming it was a yeast infection I used a generic medication called Miconazole-1 to get rid of it in one day. I used the suppository and now I am getting excessive amounts of what seems to be the medication exciting my body. It is very thick, pure white, and is foam-like. The smell has almost completely gone away but I'm worried about the "discharge." It has been a day and a half since I used the medication. Is the medication working or is something else going on?
