Cute and easy hair styles?

I plan on going to a wedding reception and I want to do my hair nice & easy without having to use alot of money at hair salons. I want to wear it down, or half down. My hairs in choppy layers and kind of hard to deal with. Any ideas on how to fix it quick&easy? Thanks for the help :) <3
