What can cause blood in urine and in bowel motions?

I recently started using Indocid suppositories. I noticed blood in my bowel motions and today I had blood in my urine. I'm not sure if the Indocid is causing this or if it could be something else more serious. I spoke to the pharmacist who referred me to my doctor. The doctor suggested to use the Indocid once a day instead of twice but this has not stopped the bleeding. I am really starting to worry.
