Yeast infection, anti-fungal suppository/cream help?

Im trying to get rid of a yeast infection ive had for a while and i finally got an anti-fungal suppository/cream. How effective is it?? I got the 3 day treatment and i need immediate relief. are there any other ways i can cure it quickly WITHOUT GOING TO THE DOCTOR?? that will b my last resort
